1. The Information We Collect
Personal Information
Personal information is any piece of information that can be used to identify a person. This includes your name, address, email, social security number, phone number, IP address etc.
At Advanced Health Academy, we collect the minimal amount of personal information necessary to render our services. These include your name, mobile phone number, and email address. You provide us with your personal information when you register to use the Advanced Health Academy or its services and features. We also receive your personal information when you communicate with us using the site, or when you send us an email.
Our system may also collect your IP address, which is a numerical address that is used to identify a computer connected to the internet. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our site, to deliver web pages to you upon request, to tailor our site to the interests of our users, and to measure traffic within our site.
Sensitive Personal Data
When you use Advanced Health Academy, you provide health information, including your blood test results, medical history, date of birth, gender, and ethnicity. These are all needed to in turn provide you with our services, including accurate blood test interpretations and personalized health insights.
To protect your privacy and security, your health information is stored as de-identified information. This means that we remove the information that personally identifies you (your personal information) from your health information and store these separately.
Anonymous Information
As you interact with Advanced Health Academy, certain non-personally identifiable information is passively collected by Web Server Logs, Cookies, and third-party tracking services.
Web Server Logs can collect date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at this site, and the websites visited just before and just after our site.
Cookies are text files placed in your computer browser that store your preferences. We use Cookies to maintain records of your visit and to improve the content and services on our site. You can disable Cookies or enable notifications about Cookies in your browser settings. Please note that by disabling Cookies, you will not be able to stay logged in upon recurring visits.
At present, AHA uses the following types of Cookies: strictly necessary, statistics/performance (aggregated and anonymized). Preferences cookies may be introduced in the future to improve user experience; AHA is not presently utilizing marketing cookies and does not intend to do so. For more information on AHA’s use of Cookies and consent, please refer to the pop-up banner when first accessing the AHA website.
Specifically, Advanced Health Academy works with Google Analytics to better understand our audience and users, to improve our marketing campaigns, and to enhance our services. You can learn more about Google Analytics’ privacy choices or opt out at any time.In the future, we, our advertisers, and ad serving companies may also use small pieces of code to determine which advertisements and promotions users have seen and how users responded to them.
No Information from Children/Minors Under Age 18
Advanced Health Academy is not intended for use by children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
You are only eligible to use our services only if you are over 18. If you are under the age of 18, please don’t attempt to use our services. If you believe that your child has registered on our site or that we have collected their information, please contact us immediately (support@AHealthAcademy.com). Further AHA is unable to process user medical data for any person who was not 18 years of age at the time the medical data was collected, even if the individual is currently 18 or older. All information collected from or about persons under age 18 will be deleted from our database as quickly as possible.
2. How We Use Your Information
Advanced Health Academy does not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties. You will always be notified of our intent to share your personal information in advance and given an opportunity to prevent your personal information from being shared.
We use your personal information within Advanced Health Academy and associated websites to:
Administer your account
Verify your identity as a user
Conduct and process transactions with you
Provide you with services and customer support
Tailor the features, performance, and support to you
Communicate with you, such as to respond to your inquiries, send purchase receipts, newsletters, emails, and/or notify you of any changes to any legal terms applicable to the Website or any changes to this Privacy Policy
We may use your de-identified information to conduct research, but only if you consent to the use of de-identified information for this purpose.
We may use your non-personally identifiable information to analyze the usage of our site, improve the design and content of our site, deliver relevant marketing messages, personalize your internet experience, and offer you products and services. We may, through the use of Cookies, keep you logged into Advanced Health Academy, track your session history, and tailor content to you.
You can opt out of receiving optional communications from Advanced Health Academy, such as our newsletter and advertisements. You may not be able to opt out of receiving certain Service-related emails, such as communications about orders, billing, account creation, registration and policy updates. If we have sent you a promotional email or other informational email not related to your order or account, the email will have an “unsubscribe” feature that will allow you to opt-out of receiving future emails.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information with third parties when we believe the sharing is permitted by you, reasonably necessary to offer our services, or when we are legally required to do so. For example, we may disclose certain information:
To third party vendors who help us provide services, including billing providers and testing laboratories
To third parties to whom you ask us to send such information (including healthcare providers)

If we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to resolve disputes, investigate problems, to enforce Terms of Service, comply with relevant laws or respond to requests from law enforcement or government officials relating to investigations or alleged illegal activity, in which case we can (and you authorize us to) disclose personal information without subpoenas or warrants served on us; or protect and defend our rights or property or the rights and property of you or third parties
Information made available to Healthcare Providers is required to be used in accordance with all applicable laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). While AHA is not strictly a Healthcare Provider or Business Associate as defined under HIPAA, AHA adheres to HIPAA security and privacy requirements whenever applicable, and otherwise employs them as a best practices guideline. If you share your information with other third parties, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you share with them.
The use and restrictions contained in this Privacy Policy will not apply to any third party. We do not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable.
4. How We Protect Your Information
We do our best to keep any information you share with us safe. We employ industry best practices to avoid any misuse of information.
Advanced Health Academy uses strong SSL/TLS ciphers and strict policies to help keep your information private and safe. To make purchases from any of the Advanced Health Academy websites you must use a modern SSL-enabled browser such as Safari, Firefox, or Chrome. Doing so helps protect the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information while it is transmitted over the internet.
To lower the risk of unauthorized access, we store your health information as de-identified information, separate from your personal information. Additionally, access to your data is heavily restricted based on roles and need.
Please be aware that no data transmission over the Internet or data storage facility can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. As a result, while we try to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
You can help us keep your data safe by also taking precautions to protect your personal data when you are on the internet. Change your passwords often using a complex combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. Make sure you use a secure web browser. Email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication. For this reason, we request that you do not send private information to us via email.

5. How Do You Access, Correct, or Remove Your Information?
Account holders may update their choices regarding the types of communications you receive from us through your online account. You also may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by following the opt-out instructions provided in those emails. Please note that we reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to your account or use of the AHA Services (for example, administrative and service announcements) via email and other means and these transactional account messages may be unaffected if you opt-out from receiving marketing communications. You may opt-out of receiving text messages by replying “STOP” to any text message received. Account holders who access the AHA Services through the AHA App may, with permission, receive push notifications. Similarly, registered account holders who access the AHA Services by using certain desktop browsers may, with permission, receive push notifications. Notification preferences can be modified in the settings menu for the mobile application or the applicable browser.
Upon request to customer support (support@AHealthAcademy.com), Advanced Health Academy will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us, such as your contact information. You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by making updates to that information or by contacting AHA through your online account. If you request to access all personal information you’ve submitted, we will respond to your request to access within 30 days or as otherwise required by law. If your information is deleted, then your account may become deactivated. If your account is deactivated or you ask to close your account, you will no longer be able to use the AHA Services. After the closure of your account, you will not be able to access our platform without creating a new account, and you will need to upload all of your blood test results again. After you close your Advanced Health Academy Account, we retain some information in your account related to your purchase history. This is necessary for accounting, audit and compliance purposes. We may also retain backup copies and archival files of your information to satisfy our state and federal legal obligations or regulatory requirements. However, we will not share your information with any partner or third party, except for information that has already been shared with your consent. If you would like to close your account in our system, you can do so through the AHA App (once you have logged in, visit settings, and then click on the close account button/link).
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor your requests for deletion within 45 days. In addition, the rights described above may be limited, for example, if fulfilling your request would reveal personal information about another person, or if you ask us to delete information we are required by law to keep or have compelling legitimate interests in keeping (such as for fraud prevention purposes). Your personal information may remain in our archives and information you update or delete, or information within a closed account, may persist internally for our administrative purposes, to the extent permitted by law. Bear in mind that neither you nor Advanced Health Academy can delete all copies of information that has been previously shared with others through the AHA App.
6. Third-Party Websites and Links
Advanced Health Academy may link to websites, products and services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for and do not endorse or accept any responsibility for the availability, contents, products, services or use of any Third Party Website, any website accessed from a Third Party Site, or any changes or updates to such sites.
These websites are linked only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. You should contact the website administrator for the applicable Third Party Site if you have any concerns regarding such links or the content located on any such Third Party Site.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy as our services evolve in the future. You will be notified of any material changes to this Privacy Policy by email. Continued use of our services following notice of these changes will indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by terms and conditions of such changes.
